Nationalism is on the rise worldwide.
What Trump is doing in America to Hispanics and others, what Modi is doing in India to Muslims and others, the black locals in South Africa are doing the same to whites.
We have been arguing for several years that ethnicity alone will determine the future and will cause deglobalization to continue for years to come.
Visa denials, shut down of corporations on foreign soil, ban on new immigration, attacks on foreign embassies, hate crimes, asset seizures, sanctions, tariffs, currency wars, terrorism, declining global trade etc. will keep growing worldwide.
All the above are part of an unstoppable global trend that arises when sufficient jobs don’t exist anywhere (except China) and we have been calling for this deglobalization trend to intensify since 2014.
Locals always want everything for themselves first and for “foreigners”, immigrants, expats or refugees later.
Saudis have been deporting millions while Austria, Hungary, Poland and Romania have completely banned any refugees.
Australia, Singapore, UK and Canada have almost banned all investment led immigration and tightened rules for PR significantly.
One can argue whatever they want but the facts are in front of us.
Today, 20 Aug 2018, South African Govt has started asset seizures of about 200 white farmers.
This will create chaos for everyone in South Africa and could potentially lead to food riots due to shortage of food.
South Africa (pop. 57m) has been losing jobs for several years, they used to be one of the leading nation in gold production and mining. However, all of it has been in terminal decline along with declining prices of gold and metals, along with strikes, deaths and job losses. Their currency has declined by over 100% in the last 6 years.
The final outcome is that the nationalistic South African Govt sees that “foreigners” must be asked to leave.
Several have left and now others are being hunted down, assets seized, attacked inside their homes, shot dead, among all sorts of harassments until they leave their livelihoods behind.
Lack of stability and fear among foreign investors will make capital flee causing more pressure on the currency and the economic situation and crime situation in South Africa will worsen in the months ahead.
Welcome to 2018!
Here is the President of South Africa himself:
White farmers are being shot dead and attacked in their own farms and homes.
